(aged in 33% new oak, the highest percentage among these 2015s): Bright light yellow. Nectarine, lemon, hazelnut and smoky oak aromas are subtle and perfumed for the year. Juicy and intense, offering a captivating sugar/acid balance and excellent definition to its very ripe stone fruit and saline mineral flavors. More tightly wound than the "regular" Genevrières, even a bit youthfully aggressive today, but the long, structured, slowly rising finish displays terrific flavor intensity and salty grip.
