The 2014 Latricières Chambertin Grand Cru comes from a single 0.75-hectare plot. It has a wonderful, pure and enticing bouquet that has superb tension and harmony, perhaps less conservative than other 2014s that I have tasted on my travels. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannin, fine structure and here very "Latricières," with just a touch of austerity on the finish -- though there is clearly more than enough fruit in situ.
