Anniversary wine questions
Which vintage should I choose for an anniversary or birthday?
Choose the year of the wedding or birth. For example, a 50th anniversary or 50th birthday in 2026 calls for a 1976 vintage. Enter the number of years in the finder above and we will show the matching vintage.
Can I find a year that isn't shown here?
Yes. The cards show popular milestones, but you can enter any vintage year from 1900 onward, or any anniversary number, in the finder to see the wines we currently have from that year.
What if no wines from my year are available?
Our selection of older and rare vintages changes regularly. Check nearby vintages, or contact us with the year you are looking for and we will let you know if we can find a bottle.
Will an older wine still be enjoyable?
Many fine wines are made to age, but how a wine develops depends on its style, the vintage and how it has been stored. Vintage Port, Madeira, Sauternes and top red Bordeaux are classic choices for older milestone years. Contact us if you would like help choosing.

Yes. The milestones on this page update automatically each January, so they always match the current year.
