Château de Fieuzal boasts a rich history dating back to the early 19th century, with its origins in Bordeaux's prestigious Graves region. Originally owned by the La Rochefoucauld family before the French Revolution, the estate was established during Napoleon's reign and later named after the Fieuzal family, who owned it until 1851. The château gained prominence in the mid-20th century under Erik Bocké's management and was awarded Graves Grands Cru Classé status in 1959.
A significant turning point came in 2001 when Irish couple Brenda and Lochlann Quinn acquired the estate. Under their ownership, Château de Fieuzal has seen substantial investments and improvements, including the hiring of renowned consultant Hubert de Boüard in 2006, the appointment of Stephen Carrier as director and winemaker in 2007, and the inauguration of a state-of-the-art cellar in 2011. These efforts have solidified Château de Fieuzal's reputation as a producer of exceptional red and white wines in the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
