The top wine in 2013 is the 2013 LC Red Rising Tides Proprietary Red. Made from 40% Syrah, 32% Grenache, 18% Mourvedre and a splash of Cinsault, it offers a gorgeously sweet nose of black fruits, bouquet garni, pepper and plenty of background meatiness. Full-bodied, layered, pure and simply seamless, with a hard to resist profile, enjoy this sexy Paso Robles blend anytime over the coming 7-8 years. - Jeb Dunnuck (28-08-2015)

Glass-staining violet color. Intense smoke-accented aromas of fresh black and blue fruits, potpourri and smoky minerals. Shows a deft blend of richness and vivacity, offering sweet cherry and blueberry flavors and a suggestion of star anise that builds with air. The floral nuance comes up strongly with air and carries through a very long, gently tannic, focused finish.- Josh Raynolds (09/2015)
