A powerful, expansive Corton whose firm structure lifts the cherry, spice and mineral flavors. A little dry on the finish, but there's a lot of sweet fruit. Best from 2012 through 2021. 200 cases imported. — BS (05/2009)
Bright medium red. Highly perfumed nose combines red berries, cherry, dried flowers, spices and earth. Precise but quite tightly wound, with an almost medicinal austerity to its flavors of minerals, flowers, spices and mint. Offer lovely inner-mouth perfume and verve but not quite the volume of a top grand cru. But this rather feminine style of Corton finishes with excellent grip and length.- Stephen Tanzer (03/2009)
