2024 Paul Pernot Puligny Montrachet

The 2024 vintage from Domaine Paul Pernot has arrived, and it is a release defined by low yields, striking concentration, and exceptional brightness—particularly in the Côte de Beaune, where Chardonnay fared far better than many feared early in the growing season.
 
Paul Pernot is one of Puligny-Montrachet’s great traditional domaines. Founded in the mid-20th century and still family-run today, the estate has long been admired for its quiet consistency, old-vine holdings, and refusal to chase trends. These are wines of restraint and clarity—transparent expressions of terroir rather than winemaking gloss.
 
Many of the Pernot family’s vines in Puligny are now 50–60+ years old, and in a small-crop year like 2024, that maturity shows clearly in the depth and balance of the wines.
