Eisele Vineyards, located in the prestigious Napa Valley, California, has a rich history dating back to the 19th century. Vines were first planted in the1880s on a piece of land that would come to be recognized for its exceptional terroir. The early years saw the vineyard change hands multiple times, but it consistently maintained a reputation for producing high-quality grapes. It wasn’t until the Eisele family took ownership in 1969 that the vineyard's potential began to be fully realized. Milton and Barbara Eisele recognized the unique qualities of their land and decided to focus on cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, a varietal that would become synonymous with the vineyard's identity.

The vineyard's reputation for excellence was solidified in the 1970s and 1980s when renowned winemaker Paul Draper of Ridge Vineyards crafted highly praised wines from Eisele Vineyard grapes. This period of acclaim attracted significant attention and established Eisele Vineyards as a source of premier Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1990, the property was purchased by the Araujo family, who continued to elevate its status by adopting organic and biodynamic farming practices. The Araujos also built a state-of-the-art winery on the estate, ensuring that the wines produced there could be meticulously crafted from vineyard to bottle.

In 2013, Eisele Vineyards was acquired by the Pinault Family, owners of Château Latour, a legendary name in the world of wine, signaling a new era for the estate. Under the stewardship of its new owners, the vineyard was renamed Eisele Vineyard Estate to honor its historic legacy. Château Latour brought with it a commitment to preserving the vineyard's heritage while also incorporating modern techniques and rigorous standards. Today, Eisele Vineyard Estate is celebrated for its outstanding wines, particularly its Cabernet Sauvignon, which is renowned for its complexity, elegance, and distinctive expression of the vineyard’s unique terroir. This blend of historical significance and dedication to quality has secured Eisele Vineyards' place as one of Napa Valley's most esteemed wine producers.

93 pts - Jeb Dunnuck

Already bottled, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc has a perfumed, vibrant style in its citrus, pineapple, and minty herb-driven aromas, and it’s medium-bodied, vibrant, and classy on the palate. This racy vibrant, beautifully balanced Sauvignon Blanc will have a decade or more of longevity.

97 pts - James Suckling

A really exotic sauvignon blanc with aromas of green melon, stones, peaches, green apples, Meyer lemons and lychees. It’s full-bodied and phenolic, with oyster shells and a briny character from the lees. One of the most structured whites I have had from here. Drink or hold.
