["Fairly deep color. Lovely, graceful nose featuring red fruits and blackberries. Additional notes include violet, tobacco, wood, and mint. Big, tannic, youthful wine on the palate. The wonderful perfectly ripe, fresh fruit flavors come through. Still, the 2006 never really opened up beyond giving us clues of what is to come. Must be cellared for at least five more years – preferably more. - RP (5/2011)"]
