2000 Kistler Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard

Kistler Vineyards is a small, family winery that has been making world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir using old world Burgundian techniques since 1979. With a focus on producing single vineyard labels, most of which are estate owned and farmed, Kistler has received many accolades from critics and has a long waiting list to purchase their wines. Steve Kistler serves as winemaker and oversees vineyard operations, with help from Jason Kesner. With ten Chardonnay sites and four Pinot sites from the Sonoma region, each vineyard has its own terroir characteristics, with varying soil types and microclimates, that yield unique acidities and flavors.
