The 2013 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard comes from a dry-farmed site planted in 1945 in the alluvial, rocky soils on the west side of Paso Robles. This 2013 is less complex than the Ueberroth, nor is it as multi-dimensional and concentrated, but it offers a gutsy, lusty mouthful of wine. It comes across as more straightforward than its nearby neighbors. Tipping the scales at 15.7% alcohol, the wine has good acidity, no heat, and a heady finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.- Robert Parker J. (04/2015)

One of the more immediate wines in this range, the 2013 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard offers plenty of intensity and richness, with bright veins of acidity that prop up the flavors nicely and balances some of the more overt elements in the glass. The exuberance of Paso comes through nicely. Hints of tobacco, menthol and licorice add nuance to a core of sweet red stone fruits.- Antonio Galloni (10/2015)
