The 2014 Chardonnay Cix looks killer and may even eclipse the 2013. It is even denser, richer and fuller, with much of the same character, but there’s an even stronger core of fruit, slightly more glycerin, and thrilling aromatics and flavors. - RP (12/2015)
Dense and racy in style, the 2014 Chardonnay CIX Vineyard is one of the more approachable wines in this lineup. Here the Montrachet clone gives a Chardonnay with good up-front intensity and plenty of power.
