Jamet's 2015 Cote Rotie continues to show a ridiculous, impenetrable black-purple color. It's tight, full-bodied and firm, with black olive, cassis and blueberry fruit that doesn't seem to have budged since the day it was bottled. Give it another 5 years or so before popping a cork.- Joe Czerwinski (12/2019)

Lurid violet color. Assertive blackberry, licorice pastille, smoky bacon and potpourri scents are complemented by a strong mineral overlay. Seamless and broad in the mouth, offering deeply concentrated black and blue fruit liqueur, cola and floral pastille flavors and a strong jolt of exotic spices. Finishes with repeating mineral, smoke and dark fruit character, with noticeable but well-knit tannins and superb tenacity.- Josh Raynolds (04/2018)
