Pure creme de cassis, black cherry, wood spice, crushed rock, and subtle oak characteristics are present in this dark ruby/purple-colored 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is another 2007 that shows abundant minerality, something I have detected in many Napa 2007 Cabernet Sauvignons. This youthful effort will benefit from 3-5 years of cellaring, and should evolve for 25+ years.- Robert Parker Jr. (12/2009)
Good red-ruby. Nicely ripe aromas of raspberry and eucalyptus complemented by spicy oak. Fat, supple and rich, with an essential softness to the wine's tangy red fruit flavors. Nicely full, palate-coating wine with sound acidity, lush tannins and excellent length. I find the Blank wine to be a rather extreme cabernet owing to its strong eucalyptus element, but this vintage is a superb example of the house style.- Stephen Tanzer (05/2010)
