The strongest effort from Canon since 1982 and before 2009, the 2007 (75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc) exhibits a dark ruby/purple color along with a beautiful bouquet of crushed rocks, boysenberries, blueberries, black raspberries, and licorice. The soft tannins, classic feel and texture, and medium to full-bodied, lengthy finish with no hard edges make for an enjoyable, potentially complex wine to drink over the next 15 years.- Robert Parker Jr. (04/2010)
