Bright, dark red. Brooding dark fruit aromas show a yeasty quality; the rather masculine nose suggests a harder style of wine. Quite sappy and firmly built, conveying a very primary character to the flavors of blackberry, boysenberry and menthol. Finishes fresh, long and firmly tannic but not dry.
