NV Nova Wines California Red Table Wine - from Marilyn Wines

Look no further!   Available only through Aabalat, direct from the cellars of Bob and Donna Holder is Nova. This bottling was done to commemorate the new business name that would create Marilyn Merlot for years to come.     

One of the names for the Marilyn wines business venture being suggested was Nova. A "Nova" is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star. In Latin it means "new". In keeping with their history of fun names, Nova fit the bill. While starting the company they began going to local wine stores trying to get their product into the stores, and it was not going well. After being rejected again and again, they joked that they might have to go door to door selling Marilyn Merlot like Avon.... Avon, spelled backwards, is Nova.... That sealed the deal.   

The first Nova wine was something new, in space, aliens drinking wine.
