Disgorged in November 2017 with 1.5 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra Brut Cuvée No. 737 Dégorgement Tardif, based on the 2009 vintage, is showing beautifully, bursting with aromas of ripe apples, white flowers, Meyer lemon, clear honey, walnuts and warm biscuits. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and complex, with a fleshy and textural core, lively acids and chalky dry extract. Drink: 2019-2033.-WK
The Cuvée No. 737 Dégorgement Tardif shows all the radiance and suppleness of the base 2009 vintage. Racy, silky and polished, with plenty of near-term appeal, the 737 is a gorgeous Champagne to drink now and over the next handful of years. Expressive orchard fruit, mint and white pepper notes are nicely pushed into the foreground. This is the first vintage that is aged on the cork. Disgorged November 2017. The late-disgorged 737 has praline and creme-brulee aromas with a thread of bread and white stones. The palate is nicely compressed and delivered in a smoothly rendered array of red berries and creamy peach and almond flavors. Drink now.-JS
