Deep, bright ruby. Vibrant aromas of black fruits, licorice, iron, flint and smoke, given thrust by its strong mineral component. Supersweet, lush and broad, with strong acidity giving it energy and firm structure. The blackberry and violet flavors are intensified by powerful stony minerality. Wonderfully dense, chewy and deep, with terrific sugar/acid snap. Finishing flavors of dark fruits, minerals and bitter chocolate really saturate the palate. There are just 350 cases of this compelling wine. ST
