The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard has a medium garnet color and leaps from the glass with stunning black cherries and blackberry pie scents with crème de cassis and mocha plus touches of charcuterie and beef drippings. The palate is full-bodied, firm and built like a brick house with tons of savory layers and a provocatively ferrous-edged finish.- Lisa Perrotti-Brown (12/2018)

(15.5% alcohol) Good deep red-ruby. Knockout claret-like aroma of currant, tobacco, mocha, licorice and loam. Sweet and lush, with lovely energy and a distinctly rocky mineral character contributing to the wine's suave impression. Finishes firmly tannic, bright and spicy, with terrific persistence. Jayson Woodbridge started picking his home vineyard on October 12, ultimately making five passes through the vines.- Stephen Tanzer (05/2009)
