There are 350 cases of the 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Herb Lamb Vineyard, which is performing better out of bottle than it did from cask. It reveals a singular, exotic bouquet of flowers (geraniums?) and a minty undertone intermixed with copious quantities of blueberries, cassis, and tar. Dense, rich, and full-bodied, it is a strong effort that should drink well for 10-12 years.- Robert Parker Jr. (12/2003)

A thoroughly rich, plush and persistent wine loaded with plush currant and chocolaty flavors, with sage, earth, mocha and espresso scents adding to its complexity. Deeply concentrated, it nonetheless displays a remarkable sense of elegance and finesse and is deftly balanced. Best from 2005 through 2014. 350 cases made. –JL WS

(bottled in December of 22, later than usual) Medium ruby-red. Aromas of blueberry, cassis and tar, with floral and menthol nuances. Supple but rather backward, with game and mint notes and a strong element of chocolatey oak. Offers plenty of density, but shows the least complete flavor development of any of this producer's wines from the 2, 21 and 22 vintages. I overestimated this wine from barrel.- Stephen Tanzer (5/23)
