(14.8% alcohol): Medium ruby; a bit less bright than the Clone 4. Slightly cooler and more medicinal on the nose, with black fruit aromas complicated by notes of cedar, mocha and bitter chocolate. Plush, fine-grained and sweet; this really fills the mouth with flavor. Superconcentrated but not at all over the top. Still needs time to absorb more of its baby fat but has compelling savory minerality and the powerful fruit and supporting structure for many more years of development.
