Good medium red. Cool aromas of black cherry, herbs, menthol and spices. Juicy, leanish and tightly wound, offering good cut and energy to its black cherry and herb flavors. In a savory, dry style for a Dugat wine, finishing with edgy tannins. (Incidentally, don't hesitate to buy Dugat's 2011 Bourgogne Rouge if you see a bottle; it boasts exotic red fruit aromas and a silky texture framed by brisk acidity.
