Bright floral, spice and intense small berry fruit aromas introduce very ripe yet beautifully elegant flavors that are not as dense as those of the Meo but there is, presently at least, much better delineation and detail on the seductively sappy and long finish. There is a fruit liqueur quality to the mid-palate and this is an extremely stylish but altogether serious wine of exceptional complexity and harmony. Consistent notes. BH
