Bright red. Very reduced nose is dominated by leather, meat and smoky oak. Then surprisingly supple and creamy in the mouth; much more tender than the Chaignots but also sweeter and fresher. This very round 2014 finishes with lingering ripe red fruit flavors.- Stephen Tanzer (01/2016)
