From another Russian River vineyard, the 2006 Pinot Noir Flax Vineyard displays pomegranate, crushed rocks, some background oak, and a sweet, elegant, broad mouthfeel with some blacker fruits in the finish. If the Rochioli 2006 is capable of lasting 5-6 years, this one I would drink over the next half dozen or so years as well. - RP (12/2008)
