The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color in addition to a big, cocoa-scented nose, a sweet entry on the palate, medium body, and a short, abrupt finish. Bright, deep red. Nose dominated by milk chocolate and smoky oak. Lush, chocolatey and smooth on entry, with sweet flavors of raspberry and oak. Then a bit green and hollow in the middle palate, despite a smooth texture. Lacks a bit for weight. Tannins turn dry and a somewhat green on the end.- Stephen Tanzer (05/2005)
